Getting help

How to seek help

Where to turn, depending on what you are experiencing right now.

What it means

  • Different situations call for different kinds of help: an emergency, an urgent but non-emergency concern, or a question before you commit to a job.
  • Dignity Pathways International is an educational and referral resource. It is not an emergency service and cannot dispatch help directly.

What to do

  • If you are in immediate physical danger, contact local emergency services first.
  • If you are facing threats, forced labor, or document confiscation but are not in immediate danger, contact a qualified anti-trafficking or worker's rights organization.
  • If you are still deciding whether to accept a job, use the Check a Job Opportunity tool and the Know Your Rights library before you pay, sign, or travel.

Where to seek help

  • See the Get Help Now page for a full breakdown of these three paths.

This is general information, not country-specific legal advice. Local hotlines, embassy contacts, and vetted referral partners will appear here as SafePath expands into each region.
